Jessica Chen (MD) is a Fellow in our Leadership Training Academy Class of 2026 and specializes in Complex Family Planning. She shared the following reflections on her work, advocacy, and what brings her joy.
What are your clinical or research interests?
Follow up after early pregnancy loss, grief related to abortion care, immigrant health.
What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?
Access to timely abortion care, appropriate management of early pregnancy loss, and legislation related to mifepristone is of particular importance to me.
What local justice-centered organization do you wish we knew about?
What is bringing you joy these days?
Everything my dog, Bear, does. My two kitties Chicken and Turtle. Going on jogs on the river. Practicing Baptiste yoga on my deck.
