Dr. McNicholas completed medical school at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her ob/gyn residency and Family Planning Fellowship at Washington University, where she is currently on faculty in the division of family planning and serves as the director of the Ryan Residency training program. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. McNicholas is passionate about reproductive health advocacy and access. She provides abortion services in multiple locations to ensure women in underserved areas can access safe legal abortion and frequently travels to Jefferson City and Washington, DC, to address the increasing incidence of legislative interference into the practice of medicine.
