My story is simple. Thanks to Obamacare, I was given access to a free IUD. There is no way I would have been able to afford that otherwise. I’m middle class and what you might call well-educated, but the cost of this highly effective birth control is still prohibitively expensive for me without that support. Thanks to getting Obamacare and the IUD, I haven’t had to ever consider dealing with an unplanned pregnancy. I am generally pro-life, but I HIGHLY support easy and affordable access to birth control. I’m deeply concerned about removing access to these health tools for women in our country.
