Tell Congress 40 Years of Hyde is Enough!

For forty years, Congress has allowed the Hyde Amendment to restrict access to abortion coverage for those receiving their health insurance through the government. We oppose policies that make accessing reproductive health care, including abortion, more difficult for patients. That’s why we need you to join in asking Members of Congress to be bold and support a bill that would remove restrictions on insurance coverage for abortion.

The Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH Woman) Act of 2015 expands reproductive health care by ensuring that women who use Medicaid for health care are not denied coverage for abortion. The bill also prohibits political interference in decisions by private health insurance companies to offer abortion coverage. The EACH Woman Act ensures that a woman’s access to abortion is not based on her income, how she is insured, or where she lives.

Join us in letting our lawmakers know that we support insurance coverage for abortion. Your legislators need to hear from you today.

Please take a minute to send them a message urging them to support the EACH Woman Act and oppose Hyde-like abortion restrictions.
