Rachel Jensen (MD) is a Fellow in our Leadership Training Academy Class of 2026 and specializes in Complex Family Planning. She shared the following reflections on her work, advocacy, and what brings her joy.

What are your clinical or research interests?

Improving patient experiences with compassionate abortion care; policy impacts on heath care delivery; qualitative/mixed methods research.

What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?

I am motivated by the fact that even setting aside legal restrictions, there remain significant institutional and social barriers to accessing high-quality, patient centered abortion care.

What is bringing you joy these days?

Community found through friends, work, and partner dancing.
