Overview

Our Leadership Training Academy prepares physicians to be strong, lifelong advocates by building their skills and confidence to speak out effectively for comprehensive reproductive and sexual health care.

The LTA program consists of two, five day intensive training sessions, one virtual and one in person, monthly webinars, hands-on media and advocacy opportunities, as well as ongoing support and coaching. Additionally, dedicated time for fostering community, building relationships, and networking with fellow advocates is built in throughout the program.

Once your LTA training is complete, you will join our vast alumni network of over 520 physicians around the country. Alumni have access to additional training, regional events, and continuing advocacy support from PRH staff, faculty, and members of the alumni network.

The Enrollment Process

You can make a difference, and getting started is simple.

Applications will open in the spring of 2026. Sign-up today to be notified when applications are open. 

Applications are open to practicing physicians who have completed U.S. residency training in any medical specialty, and foreign medical graduates who will reside and/or practice in the U.S. during the LTA training period.

PRH applies an equity lens to the application review process and involves multiple reviewers for each application consisting of PRH staff and PRH Board/LTA alumni members.

CME credits via the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award (AMA PRA) Category 1 will be earned upon completion of the LTA program.
