Democratic Women’s Caucus Urges Trump Admin to Rescind Proposed Rule to Ban Abortion Care for Veterans

Physicians for Reproductive Health joined a coalition of leading reproductive rights and advocacy organizations in strongly opposing the Trump administration’s Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposed rule to reinstate a near-total ban on abortion care and counseling. Alongside Reproductive Freedom for All, the National Women’s Law Center, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and others, PRH endorsed a public comment letter led by congressional leaders urging the VA to reject the harmful policy.
