Today, the Biden Administration announced that it is reinstating health care protections for LGBTQ+ people.
Dr. Jamila Perritt, President and CEO of Physicians for Reproductive Health, responded.
“Today the Biden Administration affirmed what we already know to be true: Queer, trans, and gender diverse people have the right to access health care free from stigma and discrimination. All people are deserving of kind, compassionate health care.
“As state legislatures continue to pass extremely dangerous anti-trans legislation, I am grateful that the Biden Administration affirmed the protections LGBTQ+ people must have in health care and all services.”
