OUR STRATEGIC PLAN

PRH’s Fiscal Year 2027-2032 Strategic Plan was designed with our mission, vision, and collective power in mind.

Over the last two years, we collaborated with PRH staff, the PRH Board of Directors, Leadership Training Academy alumni, coalition partners, and consulting experts to ensure that PRH continues to meet the moment.

What are we going to do?

Expand our network

PRH can expand our impact by increasing advocacy and training opportunities for values-aligned physicians.

Grow political power

A connected 501(c)(4) will provide more avenues to promote evidence-based sexual and reproductive health policies and correct mis and disinformation from officials and candidates.

Implement a policy and advocacy platform

A policy and advocacy platform aligns our strategies. It will be a resource to focus our physician community and educate multiple audiences about our connected goals.

Shift narrative

Policymakers, media, and patients depend on the expertise of physicians. PRH needs to provide critical evidence-based information about sexual and reproductive health care.

Deepen partnerships

Physicians know these issues are interconnected for our communities and scopes of practice. Progress requires partnership, especially when these issues are used to divide us.

Strengthen and diversify long term funding

To thrive for the next 30 years, we must build partnerships with more donors who share our vision and values amid an unpredictable funding landscape.

How are we going to do it?

Mobilize and support physician advocates

Through campaigns, trainings, regional clusters, and PRH hosted conferences, PRH’s physician advocates will have clear direction on how to move in this work.

Develop new ways to engage

PRH is for every values-aligned provider. We will design and implement a ladder of engagement to bring more physicians into our community.

Driving policy change

The policy and advocacy platform will guide PRH’s calls to state and federal governments to protect access to life-saving reproductive and sexual health care.

Advancing strategic communications

With new narrative change strategies and a larger physician-expert network, PRH’s trusted voice will reach policymakers, media, and the public.

Intersectionality as a strategy

We will partner across movements, strengthen shared advocacy, messaging, and mobilization, and offer resources to organizations sharing the weight of the work.

Increase resources for PRH staff

Our work serves many and relies on many. We will build partnerships with more funders committed to collective liberation.
