ACA Expands Contraceptive Access While Preserving Harmful Restrictions

The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, is enacted. It includes a mandate that any FDA-approved birth control method be available to those with insurance with no copay or deductible. The legislation excludes many immigrants and contains the most egregious anti-choice measures since the Hyde Amendment.
