Where do you call home?
Bowie, MD.
What are your clinical or research interests?
Clinically, I plan to focus on all facets of obstetric care, including abortion. I am interested in community-based research that uses qualitative research methods to focus on health inequities and reproductive justice.
What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?
The rapid removal over the past few years of the already limited reproductive independence held by people in this country. I’m motivated to build a new framework that actually guarantees reproductive justice for all people.
What local justice-centered organization do you wish we knew about?
BLK MAMAS, a local group in Seattle and Tacoma, Washington that focuses on black maternal justice, access, and resources.
What is bringing you joy these days?
The beautiful fall colors and a good cup of coffee.
