Baton Rouge, LA (and Nederland, TX).
What are your clinical or research interests?
Contraception, health equity, trial of labor after cesarean, family planning/abortion access, simulation in education.
What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?
Abortion restrictions/bans in Texas and Louisiana (and of course, many other states). Fearfulness and ignorance among healthcare workers working in these states to advocate for patients’ reproductive rights.
What local justice-centered organization do you wish we knew about?
Lift Louisiana.
What is bringing you joy these days?
Looking forward to meeting/working with like-minded people through LTA, seeing my family and growing toddler daily.
