Courtney Franceschi (MD) is a Fellow in our Leadership Training Academy Class of 2026 and specializes in Adolescent Medicine. She shared the following reflections on her work, advocacy, and what brings her joy.

What are your clinical or research interests?

Adolescent sexual/reproductive health, reproductive justice, long-acting contraceptives, disordered eating, gender-affirming care, health equity.

What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?

Restricted access to full spectrum contraceptive services, reproductive autonomy, and adolescent confidentiality; restricted access to pediatric gender-affirming care services.

What is bringing you joy these days?

Making flower arrangements with flowers from the local farmer’s market.
