Sarah Gutman

Sarah Gutman (MD, MSPH) is a Fellow in our Leadership Training Academy Class of 2026 and specializes in OB/GYN. She shared the following reflections on her work, advocacy, and what brings her joy.

What are your clinical or research interests?

Group prenatal care, contraceptive counseling.

What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?

Abortion access and payment, trying to move Pennsylvania to be a state where state Medicaid funds can be used to cover abortion care.

What local justice-centered organization do you wish we knew about?

Women’s Law Project.

What is bringing you joy these days?

My kids. They are 3 and 7 and delightful (most of the time).
