Be the 500th Story on Voices of Courage

Submit Your Story Rules of Competition

For the last year and a half, our Voices of Courage project has been telling a story a day. As we are close to publishing our 500th story, we have an exciting opportunity for your voice to heard!

From now until noon EDT on May 25, you can enter to compete to be our 500th story. Tell us about a time when you needed birth control, prenatal care, an STI test, a cancer screening, an abortion, or informed options about your sexual and reproductive health – and whether you got the care you needed, or something got in the way.

We will choose a winning story that best inspires, breaks down stigma and illustrates the importance reproductive health care as part of our everyday lives. The winner will have their story published as our 500th story brought to life in a comic strip by graphic artist Magnolia Porter. If you win the competition, your story will also be showcased at our Voices of Courage Benefit on June 11, and you will also receive a signed copy of your comic by artist Magnolia Porter!

You can enter into the competition by submitting your story though our online form or through our story hotline by texting 858-683-3491
