In college, Planned Parenthood was there for me in times of need. There were a few instances where a condom broke while having intercourse with my boyfriend. Although we weren’t sure if it would result in a pregnancy, I knew that I needed to visit Planned Parenthood for help because I wasn’t ready for a child. I have ADHD, depression, and anxiety that made trying to get through school without a baby and trying to take care of myself hard enough. Nervous, with little money, I was able to go to my local Planned Parenthood and be provided with an emergency contraceptive pill. I am so thankful for the quick, compassionate care that was provided to me. I was able to graduate with honors and am now pursuing a master’s degree.
