Planned Parenthood helped me when I had no insurance and had no other options. They provided me with affordable birth control (thanks to their sliding-scale payment system) and helped with follow up care after an abnormal pap smear.

I was also genuinely touched by the degree to which they ensured that they would be able to help someone in need, by allowing endless permutations of methods of contact and degrees of privacy, plus the number of times and ways they checked to make sure that I wasn’t in an abusive or dangerous situation. I would send any woman in need of help to Planned Parenthood.
