"Without an income or insurance, I couldn't afford birth control..."

Story No. 363: Amy from Washington

I moved across the country and didn’t have a job when I landed. Without an income or insurance, I couldn’t afford birth control and was not ready to become a mother. I contacted Planned Parenthood, and they offered me birth control until I was able to land a job and get back on my feet with insurance. My periods stayed regular, and I was able to delay pregnancy until I was ready. I’m so grateful for the services of Planned Parenthood.
