Roe v. Wade means that my patients can take control of their reproductive health and choose when they have their children. This means women gain more time to get the education, training, and life experiences they desire to get the jobs and salaries they deserve. I am from a very forward thinking state, Maryland, where state Medicaid covers abortion when it is needed, and abortion is a reality and option for many patients.
