A couple weeks ago, I had a patient desiring an abortion. She came with her two moms, who sat by her side throughout the appointment. She was sure of her decision, and she had the full support of her parents. We performed her abortion on Valentine’s Day. She got the care she needed, and I was inspired by the love and caring that was evident between all three women.

Abortion is an act of love, love for my patients, and my patients benefit from the love of their family members and friends when they go through the process.
