My husband and I ended a planned and wanted pregnancy at 21 weeks and 6 days due to severe, but not fatal, birth defects. While I mourn the loss of my child, I am grateful we had a choice. I feel incredibly fortunate to live in a state that recognizes my family’s right to make that decision unencumbered by the whims of politicians and those who feel their morality should be my morality.

I believe every family deserves the right to decide for themselves whether to terminate or continue the pregnancy.
