“Rochelle” was a young Baptist newlywed, very excited for motherhood. She and her husband, “Travis,” were thrilled when they found out they were pregnant.
At their 20-week ultrasound, they received horrible news: their baby had an anomaly that was not compatible with life. They prayed hard about what to do. They talked about it with their preacher. Ultimately, Rochelle and Travis decided that the most compassionate choice would be to terminate the pregnancy.
They traveled to our clinic and were able to end the pregnancy in a safe, supportive environment. They were extremely grateful for their care and for the grace that allowed them to come to us. Roe v. Wade meant they could go on to try again to have a healthy pregnancy.
