What are your clinical or research interests?
Full spectrum sexual reproductive health for adolescent and young adults, gender affirming care, contraceptive counseling, and increasing access to emergency contraception.
What do you wish other providers knew about reproductive health, rights, and justice?
Being a pediatrician, and now training in Adolescent Medicine, I get to see patients transition from teenagers to young adults. I wish my pediatrician colleagues could appreciate that reproductive justice encompasses abortion access as well as comprehensive sexual education, contraception, STI prevention and care and so much more. The infringements on reproductive health and rights are affecting the pediatric population.
