What are your clinical or research interests?
Simultaneous mifepristone with misoprostol for second-trimester non-viable inductions, abortion access and utilization pre/post-Dobbs in a restrictive state, pre-viable and preterm prelabour rupture of membranes, racism, and discrimination in obstetrics, pre-viability, shared decision making, contraceptive counseling, and delivery.
What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?
Maternal health and mortality crisis Obstetric mistreatment and racism Abortion bans and legislation to criminalize patients and providers Gun violence.
What local justice-centered organization do you wish we knew about?
Abortion Action Missouri and Missouri Abortion Fund.
What is bringing you joy these days?
My cats (Dolores, Edgar, Floyd), travel (most recently to Salt Lake City, Boston, and Atlanta), strength training, being outdoors (either on my deck or my bike), Brit Bennett books on Audible, and puzzles (especially the body positive empowering kind)!
