Where do you call home?
I currently live in Akron, Ohio. I grew up outside of St. Louis Missouri and also spent many years living in Bozeman, Montana.
What are your clinical or research interests?
My clinical interests include abortion care, contraception, patient centered contraceptive counseling, as well as early pregnancy loss. My research interests include contraceptive counseling, telehealth and exploring how legislative restrictions impact abortion access.
What do you wish other providers knew about reproductive health, rights, and justice?
Reproductive rights go beyond reproductive choice. Access to reproductive health care — abortion, contraception, prenatal care and pregnancy care and so much more — goes beyond choice. We must work to dismantle barriers to care to ensure access for all.
What local justice-centered organization do you want to uplift?
Abortion Fund of Ohio (AFO) is Ohio’s only statewide abortion fund and provides financial, emotional, & practical support to patients seeking abortion in Ohio.
What is bringing you joy?
Spending time with my partner, dog Bueller and providing care for my patients.
