Meet Our Advocates: Dr. Hayley Miller (she/her)

Where do you call home?
My hometown is Santa Cruz, California; however, I have created a new home in San Francisco.

What are your clinical or research interests?
My clinical and research interests align with the intersection of MFM and complex family planning. I enjoy practicing full-scope MFM, including care and needle-guided procedures, and I utilize my training in abortion care to create full-scope care for my pregnant patients. My research has focused on labor induction, stillbirth management, impacts of cardiovascular disease in pregnancy, as well as health policy within MFM care.

What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?
Abortion restriction, contraception access, and inequitable healthcare.

What is bringing you joy these days?
The sunshine in San Francisco. The weather has allowed for outside activities, amazing wellness, hiking, and winery visits.

Our Meet Our Advocates series showcases the talents and passion of one of our doctors and finds out, in their own words, what inspires them to be physician advocates. Hayley Miller (MD) is one of our Leadership Training Academy Class of 2024 Fellows. Dr. Miller practices obstetrics and gynecology in California.
