Where do you call home?
Currently living in Boston, MA for fellowship, but Minnesota is home and I hope to return!
What are your clinical or research interests?
I am currently conducting a qualitative research study that explores how Black identifying OBGYN residents decide to participate or not participate in abortion provision in residency and upon graduation.
What do you wish other providers knew about reproductive health, rights, and justice?
You can be advocate for reproductive health, rights and justice in every specialty; internal medicine, family medicine, psychiatry, anesthesia, surgery and we need them! Irrespective of a person’s gender, race, religion or culture attacks on reproductive health care affect us all.
What local justice-centered organization do you want to uplift?
Neighborhood Birth Center
What is bringing you joy?
Doing all of the “basic” fall activities (apple orchards and pumpkin patches, flannel wearing, mums, pumpkin flavored everything) while dragging my family along.
