What are your clinical or research interests?
The care of underserved patients, health equity, reproductive justice and community-based advocacy.
What current policy issue motivates you to be an advocate?
The passage of Texas SB8, after which NM became a surge state for abortion care, and the subsequent Dobbs decision, motivate me to be an advocate day and in day out for my patients and their right to bodily autonomy.
What local justice-centered organization do you wish we knew about?
Bold Futures NM and Strong Families NM/Forward Together, two incredible reproductive justice organizations who lead the advocacy for health equity for underserved New Mexicans! I feel so lucky to work with and learn from these incredible advocates.
