Save the Date and Register for a Virtual Summit on Reproductive Health in North Carolina

  • When: September 18, Wednesday, 8:00 AM- 1:30 PM EST
  • Where: ZOOM link will be provided closer to the date
  • What: A half-day virtual summit on reproductive health and justice to advance understanding of the impact abortion restrictions have on our North Carolina communities. Medical education for health care professionals will include updates on the legal and public health landscape since Dobbs and SB20, and underscore how abortion bans are connected to the attacks we are seeing on sexual and reproductive health care more broadly, including gender-affirming care, in vitro fertilization and contraception. This summit will feature community partners and national experts to offer participants tools for local and state-level advocacy. Sessions will include: NC Legal Landscape Post-Dobbs and SB20, NC Health Care Landscape Post-Dobbs and SB20, Introduction to Reproductive Justice, Medication and Self-Managed Abortion in a Post-Roe World, Abortion 101 Messaging, and Local Resource Utilization and Referrals. Continuing education credit for this activity is being sought through joint providership of ARMS, Inc. and Physicians for Reproductive Health.
  • Who: Open to all health care professionals and community health care workers, including advocates and organizers in North Carolina
  • FREE to participate! 
  • Organized by: Physicians for Reproductive Health, in partnership with local and national partners in the reproductive health, rights, and justice space.
